Oh this is beautiful. Being a digital art fan myself, I must say a lot of effort must have gone into this. THe coloring is great and I love the way how the background is smooth but the character is more in focus, giving her a sharper look. :-) I also like the way you have silhouetted the trees that gives it that surreal look. This piece is simply great, though personally, I would like my girl to be more feminine and exotic. For that, I guess the face would be more feminine and the eyes would have to be given a little more depth. 

But other than that I truly love ur piece and hope to see many more. :-)

Wow, this is stunning!
The coloring is amazing. I especially think you did a great job at the pirate's face. I have the impression she is really strong, but also lonely and longing for someone or something. Personally, I would prefer slightly more defined edges on her hat, though - her skin and clothing is done like that and the background is more blended so for me, sharper edges would be perfect. :)
